Winds of Change – Catch the Wind!!!
Today as I was spending time in the secret place with the Lord, I began asking Him why we have been experiencing such high winds over the past couple of weeks. Just to preface why this question was even a thought in my mind, the winds have been out of control. The kind of wind that can slam the car door on your shins leaving you walking with a limp and leaving behind visible bruises. A wind that stirs up and tosses around everything in it’s path.
God then highlighted a song in my mind. “I FEEL IT IN MY BONES YOU’RE ABOUT TO MOVE. I FEEL IT IN THE WIND YOU’RE ABOUT TO RIDE IN…SO COME AND BLOW ON THROUGH, SPIRIT MOVE WE’RE READY FOR YOU. SO COME AND BLOW ON THROUGH, COME AND DO WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO.” I felt the Lord saying these crazy winds carry with it a move of the Spirit and it is time to catch the wind!!!
I then went to my bible in search of verses that mention wind. Psalm 104:30 says, “When you release your Spirit-wind, life is created, ready to replenish life upon the earth.” Acts 2:2;4: “Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of wind rushing into the house from out the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear! They were filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit…” Psalm 147:18 “…as the warm spring winds blow, the dreams begin to flow.” Song of Songs 4:16 states, “Then may your awakening breath blow upon my life until I am fully yours. Breath upon me with your Spirit wind. Stir up the sweet spice of your life within me. Spare nothing as you make me your fruitful garden. Hold nothing back until I release your fragrance. Come walk with me as you walked with Adam in your paradise garden. Come taste the fruits of your life in me. I have come to you, my darling bride, for you are my paradise garden! Come walk with me until I am fully yours. Come taste the fruits of your life in me.”
God is calling us to let the winds of His love carry us into a place that takes us deeper into relationship with him, where our roots are like those of a tree: the stronger the winds blow, the deeper the roots go.
